By now, you’ve probably heard that a group of Citadel cadets has been suspended following the release of several photos showing them in what appears to be Klan-like hoods on their heads.

According to a statement from the Citadel, the students were not posing as members of the KKK, but were dressed like ghosts for a Christmas skit. If that is the case, then it’s clear they’re doing it all wrong.

Fortunately, I can offer them a very quick tutorial. Here goes:

When making your ghost costume out of pillowcase, which isn’t advisable — you should use unsullied white sheets — be sure to not to leave a point on top or else it might be mistaken for a Klan hood.

That’s it. Done.

Oh. You need some examples. Fine. Scroll away.
