At 4:10 a.m. this morning Charleston County Dispatch responded to a fire at bar and gourmet hot dog spot, Palace Hotel (35 Hanover St.). The bar, owned by Taylor Grant and Southern Charm‘s Shep Rose, was extinguished this morning, according to Live 5 News.
Officials do not know the cause of the fire yet, but report that it started in the apartment above the restaurant. Live 5 reports that the person who lived in the residence was taken to the hospital.
This afternoon Rose tweeted: “Thanks for all your well wishes and concerns. Too early to tell the exact details and damage. All the best.”
