It’s not easy for food trucks to find parking spots downtown. Many rotate at hospitable retailer True Value Hardware on East Bay Street. But now The Immortal Lobster, helmed by Maine native Christopher York, has found a King Street home.
Beginning next month, York will park his truck at 424 King St., the lot right next to Blue Bicycle Books.
“I’ll be parking there with Slider Box,” York says. The baby burger slinging Slider Box will be open late night, York adds, while the Immortal Lobster will handle lunch and eventually dinner.
You can start grabbing lobster rolls there beginning Feb. 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
