Creative Mornings Charleston, a weekly morning lecture series, will host Councilman William Dudley Gregorie this Fri. at Rewined Candle Shop at 8 a.m. for a talk on the topic of change.

Gregorie has represented Charleston City Council’s District Six since 2009 and he recently ran for the role of Charleston Mayor. Last year Gregorie, along with other African-American leaders, spoke at Charleston Music Hall’s Hi Harmony concert, a unity concert held after the Mother Emanuel tragedy. In an interview with City Paper, he said, “I think that Hi Harmony is an example of what we can do when artists come together as one. I want it to be more inclusionary.”
