Something new is cooking over at Revelry Brewing. We got wind of a Sean Brock collaboration with the brewers during Wine + Food, and today Revelry has revealed more. Brock is in the house helping the team craft a malt liquor using heritage grains, including Jimmy Red (read all about that here) and Carolina Gold rice.

“The plan is to have a little twist down the road with some Willet barrels we acquired through Sean,” adds Revelry head brewer Ryan Coker. “Geechie Boy Mills, Anson Mills, Riverbend Malthouse, and Willet are all part of it.”

Stay tuned for more details as we get them.
