Redux’s spring fundraiser, Redux Revival, is tomorrow night from 6-10 p.m. at the studio. Guests can look forward to entertainment from Diaspoura, the Charleston Guild of Gentlemen Puppeteers, Nameless Numberhead, and Great Yankee. Holy City Brewing and Cathead Vodka will have drinks available for purchase, and a food truck is in the works. Art raffle tickets will be available, one for $10, three for $25, and 13 for $100.
The studio’s newest mural, by Columbia, S.C. native Tripp Derrick Barnes will also celebrate its big reveal. We drove by today to give you a sneak peek of the piece, created in homage to the Emanuel Nine. The mural features a portrait and quote by the late Rev. Clementa C. Pinckney.
