[image-1]Have plans Sunday? Here’s some. Check out Gullah chef BJ Dennis and Holy City Hogs farmer Tank Jackson’s pop-up dinner. On Sunday the two are throwing a party at a private residence on the Stono River.

“We’ll be cooking stuffed suckling Ossobaw pigs stuffed with Mangalitsa meat, which is the finest of heritage bred hog meat,” says Dennis. He’ll pair the pork with peanut barbecue peas and Sea Island sweet onion salad. Local rum punch will be served during cocktail hour with pickled shrimp purloo salad cups.

For dessert, Dennis is making fried bread with local berry jam, butter, and honey. The dinner is B.Y.O.B., begins at 4:30 p.m., and and tickets are $65 per person.
