Perhaps you haven’t heard her name before, but if you’ve had Sean Brock’s food at an event you’ve likely tasted something Air Casebier has worked on. Before she started FEAST Charleston catering, Casebier worked at Husk and then as Brock’s go-to gal for event help. Now she’s out on her own and will open her own take-out joint, Feast Provisions, in two weeks.

Feast Provisions will be kitty-corner to Acme Lowcountry Kitchen at 1028 Carolina Blvd., and will start out serving items like a breakfast burrito and farm egg sandwich in addition to a roast cauliflower and kale salad, strata, and quiche.

“I think everyone who’s worked in F&B that loves it, that’s committed their lives to it, desires to have a place of their own,” says Casebier of her first foray into restaurant ownership. “It’s really only a take out shop — super casual. There are six seats on the porch at a bar where people can eat but otherwise, there’s no inside seating.” Feast Provisions hours will be subject to demand, but to start Casebier plans to be open 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

As for Brock, you can expect him to be a regular customer. “Air is one of the most passionate people I have ever met,” he says. “Anything she does is done with care and precision. I wish she was still on my team.”
