[image-1]The second-annual New Music Confab, Charleston’s first music industry conference, has announced its 2016 showcase lineup, which includes local bands like indie rockers Brave Baby, Heyrocco, Madam Adam, Stop Light Observations, and Young Mister.
Participating venues include the Music Farm, Charleston Music Hall, and the Royal American.
The conference also features a series of panel discussions from music industry professionals from Nashville (ASCAP’s Jason Silberman, Atlantic Records’ Steve Robertson, Black River Entertainment’s Brian Rhodes, and global head of country at Spotify, John Marks), New York (Reverbnation founder Lou Plaia, head of A&R at Reverbnation, Simon Perry), Los Angeles (RockHouse Presents president Gary Spivack), and more.
New Music Confab will run Thurs. Aug. 25 to Sat. Aug. 27.
All access badges for the weekend will cost you $75-$125 and $50 for students.
