[image-1]The Charleston Symphony Orchestra presents Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony this weekend, on Fri. March 3 and Sat. March 4 at the Gaillard. If you’ve never been to a CSO show and the prospect of Beethoven seems a tad intimidating, fear not, the CSO and Fuzzco are here to help. The design company and symphony have paired up for Tasting Notes, an event held this Thurs. March 2 at 6:30 p.m. at The Halsey. Tickets are $25 and you can find them here.

Tasting Notes is kind of what it sounds like — an opportunity to drink wine and talk music. Sip on carefully selected pours and learn more about CSO’s music director Ken Lam’s interpretation of Beethoven’s Sixth Symphony. Oh yeah, and did we mention the $25 includes access to Friday or Saturday’s shows? Yep, wine, music talk, and a concert to boot. Sounds like a culturally-cool deal to us.
