[image-1]We mentioned the Skinny Dip, a collective boutique, when we wrote about Rudi’s Caffe e Vino earlier this week: The boutique and cafe are opening in the former location of Boone’s on Sat. April 1.
The store’s original concept, The Skinny Dip: A Summer Collective, opened a seasonal store in Nantucket in 2016. Founders Sara Rossi and Taylor Ivey co-founded the collective as a way to showcase their respective fashion brands, Beau & Ro Bag Company and Ellsworth and Ivey, respectively, along with complementary brands from across the country.
The 4,000 square foot store will have both established and emerging brands, as well as a section for Charleston makers, including Southern Charm‘s own Shep Rose and his Shep Gear. Skinny Dip plans on hosting a number of events, from yoga classes to trunk shows, all in the spirit of connecting the community.
