[image-3]Some people aren’t too into running (we get it) but that doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate the upcoming Bridge Run. The staffers over at Blue Bicycle feel your running pain and that’s why every year they hold their Bridge Run Reading, featuring original works from BB owner Jonathan Sanchez, along with writers Sara Peck and Ben Adams.

Sanchez says the event has a special name this year: The Bridge Run Reading and Wine Mixer in honor of the ninth anniversary of the film Stepbrothers. While the name kind of explains it all, in layman’s terms, the mixer (which includes beer, too) kicks off at 6 p.m. tonight, with readings starting a bit later.

While the first Bridge Run readings were related to the race, they have strayed a bit from that theme since then. If you’re interested in checking out some of those early readings, you can find them in Bandit, Sanchez’s compilation of Bridge Run readings.  [event-1]
