It’s Negroni Week and that means 44 local restaurants are offering special Negroni cocktails now through Sun. June 11 with all of the proceeds supporting nonprofits like Lowcountry Street Grocery and Lowcountry Food Bank. And each has its own unique take on the gin and campari drink, but perhaps the most elaborate is Dewberry bartender Ryan Casey’s Negroni.

Served in a tapped coconut, this is Casey’s take on the classic and it can be ordered by the glass or by the coconut — $1 a drink/$5 a coconut going to nonprofit No Kid Hungry which works to end child hunger in America.
