5Church is pretty prolific when it comes to serving up multi-course meals. This Thurs., though, the feast benefits not only your tastebuds, but your local Ashley Avenue Moultrie Park Playground, too.
The cocktail hour starts at 6 p.m., followed by a four-course tasting menu prepared by Chef Jamie Lynch and Chef Adam Hodgson.
Hors d’oeuvres include red wine poached foie torchon, Kusshi oysters, and chicken liver mousse. The main menu features a coconut tuna tartare, ricotta and peach tortellini, dry-aged lamb rack with Benton’s bacon, and a caramelized orange tart with vanilla gelato.
Guests receive a complimentary cocktail upon arrival, and sommelier Patricia Smith serves up wine pairings for the four course meal. Ticket prices set at $150, with a portion of ticket sales going towards the revitalization of Moultrie Playground by the Charleston Parks Conservancy.
