The POPS! season, led by conductor and music director Nick Palmer, kicks off on Sat. Sept. 9 with Bravo Broadway, a show featuring classic and contemporary Broadway songs. Next on the docket is the Sat. Nov. 4 performance of Great Hits of the ’60s and ’70s which, spoiler, features hit songs from the aforementioned decades, performed by singers Tim and Sara King.
The rest of the season features Kings of Pop on Sat. Jan. 27, with Gavin Hope and the Jeans ‘N Classics performing songs from Michael Jackson, the Jackson Five, and Prince; That’s Entertainment on Sat. Feb. 24, with star soloist of the Lord of the Rings Symphony singer Kaitlyn Lusk performing songs by the likes of Judy Garland and Celine Dion; and Star Wars, Sci-Fi & John Williams on Sat. April 28, an evening packed with music from Star Wars, Game of Thrones, the Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, and more. Phew.
