Monday

Fans of country, head to Red’s Ice House at 6 p.m., when Nathan Salley will take the stage.

The 11th annual Hurricane Forum will take place at the Greater Goodwill AME Church from 7-8:30 p.m.

Destined for the spotlight? Head to Flowertown Theater’s open auditions for The Laramie Project at 7 p.m.

Tuesday

Harold’s Cabin hosts Mignonette Marionette’s Puppet Petit Four at 7 p.m., featuring performances from local talents Mark Yoder, Dave English, and Sage Graham.

The Second Presbyterian Church holds open auditions for the Gospel Choir and Charleston Spiritual Ensemble at 6 p.m.

Austin Norvell’s pop up show, Loaded, will be on display at Redux Contemporary Art Center from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Wednesday

Catch a screening of La La Land out on Folly Beach, just behind the Tides Hotel — the show starts at sundown.

The Southern Belles play the Pour House Stage at 10 p.m.

Charlestowne Fermentory hosts a night of trivia and Venezuelan hot dogs; the fun begins at 8 p.m.

The Terrace Theater hosts a free screening of Detroit at 6:30 p.m. in conjunction with CofC’s race and social justice initiative.

Lowcountry Artist Gallery’s 35th birthday celebration runs from 5-8 p.m., featuring refreshments, live music, and of course, birthday cake.

Saturday

Singer-songwriter duo Clair Conway and Joseph Dubay perform at Eclectic Cafe at 7 p.m.

Virginia College invites the community to celebrate back-to-school with an event featuring refreshments, a bounce house, and a back to school raffle; the celebration will run from 1-3 p.m.
