Newman’s career began in 1968 with a self-titled album before he went on to score music for countless films and record Grammy, Oscar, and Emmy Award-winning albums. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2014, he received a Pen New England Song Lyrics of Literary Excellence Award.
Newman released the satirical “Putin” last year, which is off this year’s full-length release, Dark Matter. He’s also written an unreleased song about Donald Trump’s dick. Yep — more on that here.
