“I am a friend and neighbor of Shane and Shannon. So many have asked to help the Whiddon family due to the tragic loss of Shane. I’m setting this up for those who would like to help Shannon, the boys, and the family. The funds will be set up to go directly to the family.” 

That’s the the GoFundMe campaign created by Terri Thomas Wall of Goose Creek reads.

A day after the Virginia’s Executive Chef Shane Whiddon was killed during an altercation at the restaurant with a suspected disgruntled employee, the Charleston F&B community is reaching out to show their support.

The GoFundMe campaign’s goal is to raise $10,000. As of this post, $950 had been donated.
