Redux’s popular art auction is back and they need local artists to donate their work for the the annual fundraising event, held Wed. Nov. 15 from 7-10 p.m. You can find the donation form online.
The Southern, Get Well Soon, opens on Fri. Nov. 24. Entries due Wed. Nov. 1
Get Well Soon is a group show of small, feel-good works, and The Southern is looking for artists creating work that will “brighten someone’s life.” The show purposefully opens on Black Friday, so you can buy a special gift for someone (or yourself!) for the holidays. You can submit your work online through Nov 1.
North Charleston Arts Fest, held May 2-6, 2018. Entries due Fri. Dec. 15
The North Charleston Arts Fest, held in the spring in venues throughout North CHS every year, draws an average of over 30,000 residents and visitors. This year a review panel will select applicants from all art disciplines to create a mix of both free and ticketed events. Proposals or new concepts are also being accepted. For more info email culturalarts@northcharleston.org. Currently, the Cultural Arts Dept. is seeking performers or presenters in music, theater, dance, visual art, media art, and literature. You can apply online for free through Dec. 15 at midnight.
