Lawmakers have filed a bill that would end contributions from SCE&G customers’ power bills to the failed VC Summer nuclear project. The measure won’t be considered until next year. The SCE&G parent company is reportedly working to fully abandon the project by year’s end in order to receive a $2 billion tax deduction. Source: P&C
