The owners of Cafe Framboise, the French pâtisserie at 159 Market St, are opening a new bistro next door.
According to the Post & Courier, Framboise owners Dominique and Florence Chantepie will open Bistro A Vin at 40 Archdale St. The spot was formerly occupied by Crescent Olive Oil and Alpha Dog Omega Cat pet boutique.
P&C reporter Warren Wise says that Bistro A Vin will “serve beer, mostly French wine, and offer cheese, charcuterie and other finger foods.”
The new restaurant is slated to open next Spring.
