[image-1]It’s the Monday after Thanksgiving and the only thing we can think about is Christmas. That’s right, y’all, the holidays are full steam ahead. And Cinebarre is fully embracing that spirit with special screenings each Saturday throughout December. Starting this Sat. Dec. 2, through Sat. Dec. 23, you can head to Cinebarre at noon for a $5 movie — from A Christmas Story to Gremlins. Oh and if you’re a Regal Crown Member you can get a medium popcorn and soft drink combo for $5, too.

A Christmas Story, playing at noon on Sat. Dec. 2, is the classic tale of Ralphie Parker and his Christmas dream of a Red Ryder air rifle. If you prefer this story on the stage, look for the musical version at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center starting Dec. 22, and at Flowertown Players starting this Fri. Dec. 1.

On Sat. Dec. 9 head to Cinebarre for National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation featuring Chevy Chase as Clark Griswold who just wants a perfect Christmas (needless to say things go awry).

Elf hits the Cinebarre screen on Sat. Dec. 16, with our favorite goofball/doofus Will Ferrell in the titular role as Buddy the Elf, on the hunt for his real father in the Big Apple.

Gremlins rounds out the festive flicks at Cinebarre on Sat. Dec. 23. with the tale of the coolest Christmas gift of all time.
