[embed-1] Brown’s Court Bakery joins a growing list of Charleston coffee shops that offer boozy beverages in addition to their caffeine and pastry lineup. Tonight, head to Brown’s Court starting at 4 p.m. for discounted pours of draft beer during happy hour (which runs until 7 p.m.); a variety of canned and bottled beers, wines, and mimosas; and a menu of focaccia, pretzels, homemade condiments, and pastry chef Carrie Ann Bach’s “host cakes.”

Brown’s Court says they hope to offer additional menu items for future happy hours, including ice cream cookie sandwiches, cheesecakes, curry dishes, and homemade pizzas. Brown’s Court’s happy hour runs from Mon.-Sat., 4-7 p.m. Check out the full menu below.

Brown’s Court joins what we fondly deem “multi-purpose” coffee spots in Charleston. Requirements for making our multi-purpose list? 1. Offer coffee all day. 2. Offer beer and wine all day. 3. Offer free wi-fi.

Our current multipurpose list includes: The Harbinger, Eclectic Cafe & Vinyl, Bakehouse Bakery Cafe, Bad Wolf Coffee, Mercantile & Mash, Orange Spot Coffeehouse, Park Cafe, and Vintage Coffee Cafe. Welcome to the club, Brown’s Court.
