[embed-1]Dubplates got a brand new bag and it comes in the form of footie. This week, Charleston’s Reggae Band of the Year, along with Ky-Mani Marley (reggae and hip-hop artist, table tennis champ, and the only son of Bob Marley and Anita Belnavis), announced their partnership with the Charleston Battery to present the Marley Cup, an all-star, seven-a-side soccer matchup of Jamaica versus the Charleston Battery at MUSC Stadium (1990 Daniel Island Drive) on Sat. March 31, 2018.

Of course, there will be live music as well from Ky-Mani Marley, KJ Marley (Ky-Mani’s son), Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys (frequent Dubplates collaborator), and the Dubplates, featuring Future Fambo and more.

Early bird seats are on sale until Jan. 8, 2018 at a discounted rate. You can pick up those here.
