If you just can’t keep liquor in the house, you are in luck. Bourbon N’ Bubbles – the aptly named bourbon and champagne bar – is accepting ‘liquor locker’ membership requests.
What is a liquor locker, you ask? In case you missed when we wrote about it here, these lockers are a first in Charleston. The service allows you to keep your favorite bottle ready and waiting in a fancy walnut locker with your own nameplate. It should work better than threatening your roommates not to touch your favorite bottle, but it comes at a price. No word on whether you can keep other irresistible items in there. (I need new a new hiding place for Girl Scout cookies.)
Zach Dennis, director of operations, said in a press release, “Our goal is to provide patrons with something unique that they won’t find anywhere else in Charleston.”
Dennis added that the lockers allow them to give customers “a refined, personalized experience that makes them feel at home by having their favorite bottles available to them as soon as they walk through the door.”
The membership comes not only with the luxe locker, they say, but you get some decent perks, like priority seating on reservations, membership entry, and discounts on events, bottles, and food. Bourbon N’ Bubbles will focus not only on high-end bourbons and champagne, but they will also offer hand-crafted cocktails and an à la carte menu.
