[embed-1] This week Kid Cashew Charleston quietly announced their opening in Mt. Pleasant. The Charlotte-based restaurant takes over the space formerly occupied by Triangle Char and Bar (1440 Ben Sawyer Blvd.), which closed suddenly this summer.
[content-1] When we drove by Kid Cashew this weekend we noticed a big ol’ banner announcing the restaurant’s presence, which seems fitting in the large, indoor/outdoor restaurant. Kid Cashew, whose tagline is, “Eat What You Crave,” is open daily for dinner starting at 5 p.m.

According to the restaurant’s website, Kid Cashew cooks food with “no fryers, no heat lamps, no microwaves.” Menu items include small plates, salads, burgers, local seafood, and off-the-grill “favorites.” Kid Cashew notes that they also serve a vegan menu and offer gluten-free options. Check out the full menu below. [pdf-1] [location-1]
