On Jan. 13 of this year, principal photography started on a film about a somewhat maladjusted guy named Michael Myers revisiting his old stomping grounds, Haddonfield, Ill., after going on a stabbing and strangling spree forty years earlier.

Now, nine months later, the citizens of Haddonfield (a.k.a. Charleston) can see the results of all that hard work when Rough House Pictures will be hosting a special screening of Halloween at the Regal Palmetto Grande Stadium 16 at 7:30 p.m. on Thurs. Oct. 11. The $12 ticket price will benefit the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital.

Buy your tickets right now (like, right now) on Eventbrite.

The film debuts nationwide on Fri. Oct. 19 with initial showings on Thurs. Oct. 18. (Terrace, Fandango)
