[embed-1] SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar is raising money now through Sat., Nov. 17 for SOS Lowcountry, a nonprofit supporting local women fighting breast cancer. Through their Kitchen Karma program, SOL will donate a portion of all Milagro margaritas and cocktails sold at their locations in Mt. Pleasant, Summerville, and downtown.

SOS (Share our Suzy) Lowcountry supports breast cancer patients with costs for transportation, groceries, childcare, utilities, wigs, and more.

“The financial burden from fighting breast cancer can be devastating and SOS Lowcountry’s goal is to allow patients to focus solely on recovery and not the financial stress,” said David Clark, owner of SOL, in a press release. “We are both honored and excited for the opportunity to help increase breast cancer awareness and raise money for local patients.”

SOL’s Kitchen Karma program recently raised $2,991 for the Green Heart Project over six weeks. Since 2013, they have raised more than $58,000 for local charities.
