Donut say we didn’t warn you — mid-Atlantic specialty donut shop Fractured Prune Doughnuts (located at 1247 Ben Sawyer Blvd.) is hosting their grand opening next Tues. Oct. 16. We first announced the opening of the “hot hand-dipped doughnuts” store in July, when Fractured Prune was still under construction.
[content-1] Best known for those aforementioned hot donuts, Fractured Prune prides itself on a wide variety of toppings (trust us, the Prune lovers we know can’t stop talking about them). From candy-coated chocolates to mini marshmallows to crumbled bacon, you can throw just about anything atop your donut. And don’t forget the glazes — there’s everything from blackberry to mint.
Fractured Prune will be open Mon.-Sat., 7 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sundays, 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
