If you haven’t been to Trophy Lakes yet, this is the time to make the trek to good ol’ Johns Island. Bundle up and head to the lake for AYCE oysters, a barbecue buffet from Swig & Swine, live music, helicopter rides, bouncy castles, and axe throwing Sun. Dec. 9 starting at noon.

There’s plenty to do in between rounds of steamed oysters: jam to live music by Soul Fish and Fusion Jonez, shop a holiday marketplace with local vendors, sip on specialty drinks and ice cold beer, and, lest we forget to reiterate: take part in (cheap) helicopter rides and axe throwing.
Advance tickets are on sale now for $35, with tickets available at the door for $39. Tickets include entry, all you can eat oysters, and barbecue buffet. Children’s tickets are available for $10.
