This weekend Monster Music & Movies (946 Orleans Road) will celebrate a milestone anniversary.
“In January 2004, we bought the Charleston Manifest Discs & Tapes store, as the independent chain decided to shutter operations and go out on top, and 15 years later we’re still cooking,” says owner Galen Hudson.
On Fri. Jan. 18 and Sat. Jan. 19, customers will be the beneficiaries of the celebration, with the entire store 15 percent off and used merch 25 percent off.
The store will also celebrate national Record Store Day on Sat. April 13 in the usual festive fashion: tons of RSD issues, early opening hours, live music, food trucks, and more.
