S.C. Sen. Marlon Kimpson is reinvigorating his effort to reform state gun laws with a new bill that would set rules for what crimes would have to be immediately reported to state police to be included in gun check databases. Kimpson initially filed a bill after the shooting at Mother Emanuel that would have changed the minimum waiting period for a gun check to occur, but it was unsuccessful. Source: AP
