Major League Soccer is back at The Battery starting this Sat. Feb. 16

Calling all fans of footie. Major League Soccer, specifically Columbus Crew, Chicago Fire, and FC Cincinnati, head to The Battery’s stadium for three games starting this Sat. Feb. 16. Tickets for day passes start at $30 and can be purchased online.

Charleston Battery, part of the United Soccer League, welcomes these Major League players every year for this special tourney. The four teams compete in a round-robin style tournament over three days (following this Saturday’s matches, the teams will play on Wed. Feb. 20 and Sat. Feb. 23).

Soccer aficionados can look forward to watching big deal players take the field — like World Cup winner Bastian Schweinsteiger (Chicago Fire).
