On Fri., March 8, celebrate Mardi Gras at Container Bar Charleston‘s Mardi Gras masquerade. Bring your beads and masks to enjoy live music by DJ Shell, drink specials, and the featured food truck.


Take part in a Mardi Gras 5K Confetti Fun Run on James Island starting at 9 a.m.

The Schoolhouse is hosting the first ever Charleston Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball at 7 p.m. Enjoy a night inspired by the traditional Mardi Gras event. Early bird tickets starts at $75.

Pet Helpers is celebrating Mardi Paws from 12 to 4 p.m. with an adoption event at their shelter with live music, food, prizes, and discounted adoptions.
