Chris Fritton a.k.a. The Itinerant Printer, visits Ink Meets Paper on Thurs. March 7, 6-8 p.m. This event is free and open to the public and features tales from Fritton’s travels alongside a pop-up exhibition and shop.

Fritton has been traveling across the country for four years now, producing unique prints at various letterpress print shops in the U.S. Fritton works only with paper and ink and whatever other tools these shops have to offer him.

Fritton recently completed a coffee table book cataloguing his years-long adventure, a book that is described as “part cultural anthropology, part philosophical musing, and part poetic digression.” The book, which will be available for purchase at this event, is a series of vignettes, the “ultimate index” of Fritton’s printing journey.
