President Trump’s border wall would put $300 million with of funding for S.C. military projects at risk, including barracks, firing ranges, cryogenic facilities, and mission control centers for drones. Source: P&C

S.C. lawmakers have planned to spend $96 million on giving back taxpayers a $50 rebate. What else could the state do with almost $100 million? The State floats some other options for the money, which include:

  • covering most of the $101.3 million needed to pay for maintenance of state owned and maintained buildings
  • buying 1,0100 new school buses
  • paying for two new interchanges on the interstate and two to three road widening projects

S.C.’s Honda plant is claiming that it is a victim of corporate espionage when pictures of its new Talon side-by-side vehicles leaked. They are suing Charter Communications and North State Telephone Co. to turn over who posted the leaked images online. Source: P&C
