[embed-1] Whether you’re studying to become a certified sommelier, or just want to polish up your vino knowledge for a scintillating happy hour chat, Edmund’s Oast Exchange’s 12-week somm school will help uncork your mind. EOX certified sommelier Sarah O’Kelley leads this summer session starting Sat. June 1.

Every Saturday from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., O’Kelley will focus on a different topic, from viticulutre and vinification to popular wine regions; learn how the centuries-old terroir of France creates a varietal far different from the New World grapes of Oregon, California, and Washington. Classes are $20, and tickets are sold separately for each event. F&B folks can attend for just $10 per class — use code sommfandb when checking out online

The full schedule is as follows:
Sat. June 1: Viticulture & Vinification
June 8: Blind Tasting
June 15: France Part I
June 22: France Part II
July 6: Italy
July 13: Spain
July 20: Portugal
July 27: Germany
Aug 3: Austria & Hungary

Aug. 17: California, Oregon, Washington
Aug. 24: Australia & New Zealand
Aug. 30: Argentina & Chile & S. Africa

If your Saturdays are reserved for sipping sans learning, that’s OK. Oenophiles can check out O’Kelley’s recs for the perfect summertime rosé here, or the best bottle for you next big fete here
