Comedian and self-described “liberal redneck” Trae Crowder heads to the Charleston Music Hall on Sun. Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $25 and go on sale this Fri. May 17 at 10 a.m.

Crowder performs with partners Drew Morgan and Corey Forrester as part of the wellRED comedy tour. The three can be considered a modern twist on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour — similar in their redneck sense of humor, but also challenging stereotypes and deeply-held beliefs about what it means to grow up in the South.

Crowder, Morgan, and Forrester are currently in development with a major broadcast network for a scripted sitcom series, so this October performance could be a sneak peek into that material.

If you want another early look at all the funny Crowder has to offer, head to his YouTube videos, where he parodies redneck culture. As he proclaims in one clip, “Who doesn’t love a good wall?”
