[embed-1] This afternoon at the Goose Creek Walmart Supercenter, local entrepreneur Helen Hall learned that she has been selected as a finalist to attend Walmart’s Open Call this June. Hall will take her Blender Bomb business (she dabbles in smoothies, too) to Walmart headquarters in Bentonville, Ark. to pitch her product to one of the largest retailers in the world. If successful, Hall could be hawking her goods to millions of customers across the nation.

Hall’s Hush Up + Hustle lifestyle brand was founded in 2017, with the idea for Blender Bombs a very successful fruit of her labor (the bombs have almost 16K Instagram followers, and Hall boasts a cool 64.7K followers).

The Blender Bombs are compact foods that combine all essential amino acids and fatty acids typically added into a smoothie to make it a meal replacement … the purpose of the Blender Bombs® is to add appropriate proportions of nutritional ingredients to a smoothie in a quick and easy way.” Base ingredients of the gluten free bombs include everything from chia seeds to almonds to local honey and cinnamon.

Hall, who follows an 80×20 lifestyle (her diet is 80 percent whole, plant-based foods and 20 percent whatever she wants), has attracted the likes of Southern Charm‘s Naomi Olindo and Dallas-based lifestyle blogger Ashley Robertson. Oh, and she has a bus. Missed the bus? Order the Blender Bombs online; we’ll take one bag of the mint and cacao chip, please.
