We here at the City Paper love a good convenience store.
This Tues. Sept. 3, Parker’s Kitchen will host their grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration at 11 a.m. in Monck’s Corner.
Founded in 1976, Parker’s Kitchen takes pride in offering fresh, Southern-inspired food and is recognized as one of the nation’s leading convenience store companies. In 2018, they were named Convenience Foodservice Leader of the Year by Convenience Store News.
They have also received recognition from USA Today and are a top-ranked restaurant on TripAdvisor.
The grand opening will also highlight their Fueling the Community initiative which donates one cent per gallon of gas purchased to schools in the area. In the initiative launch year of 2011, Parker’s Kitchen raised over $200,000 for public and private schools in Ga. and S.C. through Fueling the Community.
So head to Monck’s Corner (1105 N. Hwy. 52) for their grand opening and enjoy their world-famous southern fried chicken tenders, made-from-scratch mac ‘n’ cheese, or the full breakfast bar.
