Local toy store, Wonder Works Toys, has recently stepped up to counter the loss of in-store customers by creating an online virtual tour of their largest location in the Belle Hall Shopping Center.
Wonder Works Toys has always done a great job keeping itself innovative and keeping up with viral trends and COVID-19
trends are proving to be no exception. The tour itself consists of several 360 degree camera shots taken throughout the store that let you get a look at what the store stocks.
It may not quite be the same as walking around a store in person, but it does do a good job trying to imitate what that is like. With so many retail locations shut down now, Wonder Works Toys choice to have a virtual tour of their store may be a trend that some other retail stores around Charleston will pick up. Time will only tell, but it may help all of us weather this storm a little bit better.
