Local rock band Gods returned with its new single “Honest” on Nov. 12.
The group, made of Chris Perot, Deslin Price and Philip Ward, has been quiet for most of the year.
A week ago the members announced that “Honest” will be the first single off the band’s new LP, scheduled to be released on Thanksgiving.
Gods is known for its instrumental rock sound and this song is the definition of a comeback. The track features a strong combination of guitar and drums, the sound itself ranging from chill vibes to all-out rock and roll. It has a 2000s flair but with a fresh sound to make it current.
