Charleston Music Hall will released its first vinyl, titled Charleston Music Hall Stage Sessions Vol. 1 Vinyl

The popular Charleston venue was closed for six months due to COVID-19. However, the Hall’s managers still wanted to give back to the community and help promote local artists.

So they put together an LP featuring 10 of their favorite local artists from a wide variety of genres.

Artists include Keon Masters, Babe Club, Mel Washington, Charlton Singleton Quartet and tape loop, Marcus Amaker’s music project.

The album is available for pre-order now and is expected to ship between Dec. 10 and Dec. 20.

Record Stop, a John Street record store and the Music Hall’s neighbor, pressed a limited number of records. Only 450 copies of Charleston Music Hall Stage Sessions Vol. 1 will be available.

Each record is $25 and can be purchased on Charleston Music Hall’s website.
