Rapper Lil Boss is getting in the holiday spirit with his upcoming event, It’s a Boss Christmas. On Friday, Dec. 18, between 2 – 6 p.m., residents can head to The Lobby at 8484 Dorchester Road for free hot food and free groceries before the holidays.

According to a spokesperson for Lil Boss, all groceries and food are paid for by Boss and donations from South Carolina natives and NFL players Javon Kinlaw and Brandon Shell.

“I wanted to put the event together because I have a lot of good shit going on for me right now,” Boss told the City Paper. “I want to give back because where I come from, we ain’t have shit.”

A DJ will be spinning records during the event, which will be hosted by Z93 Jamz personality Kris Kaylin.
