The Main, Mount Pleasant and Wando branch libraries all reopened today, one month after suspending in-person services due to COVID-related concerns.
In-person services, including browsing, computer use and library card sign-up, are available again starting Monday. The full schedule for the newly opened branches is printed below.
- Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Wednesday from 2 to 7 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. (Main Library Only)
Patrons are required to wear a mask inside the library. All Charleston County Public Library branches also have occupancy limits at this time.
The Baxter-Patrick James Island, Dorchester Road, Cooper River Memorial, John L. Dart, Poe/Sullivan’s Island, St. Paul’s/Hollywood and West Ashley branches are also open to the public.
