Artist Lance Miccio’s oil painting exhibit inspired by Kurt Vonnegut’s novel Slaughterhouse-Five will be available for College of Charleston students and staff to view Feb. 15-Mar. 15.

The painting exhibit, which is traveling from the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library in Indianapolis, will feature 25 images inspired by scenes from the lauded anti-war novel. Miccio’s paintings were originally hosted by the Vonnegut Museum, under the titled Slaughterhouse-5.0, in celebration of the book’s 50th anniversary.

Miccio is a native of Sullivan’s Island, but currently resides in California. The exhibition will be hosted by CofC English professor Susan Ferrell at Addlestone Library.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only current CofC students, faculty, staff and Friends of the Library will be able to enter Addlestone. The exhibit will be hosted on the first floor.
