Psych-rockers the Orange Doors music video for “Disenchant” is a vibrant blast of color and claymation. The song’s chaotic melodies meet their match in a tormented hero made of clay.

Throughout the rightfully trippy video, a claymation character goes on a paranoid adventure inside his home, while the band plays on. Things don’t end too well for the main character or the band when they encounter a claymation snake.

The video, which features several stop-motion types and over 1,000 pictures, was animated by band members Ian Russel and Michael Ewens. The duo filmed “Disenchant” along with Selena Otto.

The single comes from the Orange Doors’ 2020 LP, Slaphappy, available on bandcamp.com. Check out the video on YouTube.
