Madra Rua made its return to Park Circle in 2020 with its authentic pub experience

Madra Rua is back in Park Circle. Nearly 20 months after a fire gutted the uber-popular North Charleston pub, Madra reopened in September 2020. But don’t worry, the charm of the neighborhood favorite remains, since crews rebuilt the inside almost just as it was before the fire. New for the pub is generous outside space, complete with an outdoor bar and patio along the side of the building, a stage and more seating out back. And of course, the menu still includes all the Madra Rua standards: shepherd’s pie, the Reuben, fish and chips and the burger.

The only thing missing from the new-look Madra Rua is Park Circle’s blowout St. Patrick’s Day block party. Guess we’ll see you there in 2022!
