What you need to know: Recent DHEC data shows that there’s what Medical University of South Carolina doctors are calling a “concerning rise” in the number of “multisystem inflammatory syndrome” (MIS-C) cases in children who have contracted COVID-19. According to the data, there have been a total of 110 cases of MIS-C in those who have contracted the virus.
