The Pass ~ Panino and Provisions, a new market-style eatery and nighttime private dining space, is slated to open mid-summer 2021 at the corner of Spring and St. Philip streets in the space previously occupied by Poke-San.

Run by chef Anthony Marini of Philadelphia, The Pass will serve gourmet sandwiches during lunch hours along with speciality food products including local cheeses, wines and housemade condiments.

At night, the space will transform into a chef’s table dining experience, serving an eight-course meal prepared by chef Marini. The chef’s table must be booked by reservation and is only hosted for one party of up to 12 people per night.

Regular daytime hours for the market and sandwich shop will be Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reservations for the private chef’s table must be booked in advanced.

โ€œI am genuinely excited for this new venture in Charleston. I look forward to distinguishing ourselves as a modern-day bodega for food enthusiasts or as a space to enjoy a one-of-a-kind dining experience with friends,โ€ chef Marini said in a press release. โ€œI hope to create the sense that both Charlestonians and visitors alike have a seat at our table.โ€โ€ฏ
